Reviews
Good collection of books and stuff. There are books, toys, educational materials, travel guide and more. There is a section where you can find good collection of children's books from toddlers to young adult. There is even a children's corner for kids to read underground level.
Classy, elegant library with French books 📚 I could spend there all my money 💰 Elevator for people who need it or mothers with strollers (me included:)) My 3yo loved the books and she wanted to stay in this library forever. …
A magic moment when Bono came in. Friendly staff and beautiful store.
Very nice cafe with warm friendly service. I can't give a rating for the books though, because I haven't really looked through the collection, but seems to be nice though. The displays are bright and well organised. A good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. Good place to grab your regular cuppa.
Looks like a great shop for French speakers. Small English section, mostly classics and some new bestsellers. There are better shops for English books I think.
Incredibly rude staff with an arrogant attitude. Between the woman downstairs who considered me mad for looking for a book that could show my daughter images of different countries (she literally felt it was her place to say my three year old daughter was too young to understand) , and the cafe person who thought it obvious when I asked what some biscuits were, to respond with the self evident "cookies" without any other information of what the different ones contained, I just saved myself €60 in books I was about to buy, and probably €5 in an over-rated "cookie". Never going there again. If you enjoy French eye-rolls and no help at all, this is the place for you.
Long live Amazon if that's the best you can do when dealing with clients in person!
Great selection of adult and children's books. Liked the summary notes attached to the books on display.
I think this bookstore definitely missed what makes such shop enjoyable. Instead of pretending to be a bookstore they should have advertised themselves as a coffeeshop selling books. Lights are not cosy at all and you don’t have any space to move your way. Very disappointed
